Cà dei Frati’s Lugana ‘I Frati’ comes from vineyards on the southern shore of Lake Garda, in Lombardy, and is the flagship wine of the company, which has made it famous throughout Italy. It is produced from pure Turbiana (Trebbiano di Lugana) grapes, a great indigenous variety. Vinification takes place in steel, then the wine matures in steel on the fine lees for a period of about 6 months.
Among the first to make the potential of Lugana known outside regional borders, the Dal Cero family represents one of the most interesting syntheses of today’s Italian wine world.
Intense straw yellow, the nose expresses beautiful, deep notes of peach, yellow apple and dog rose.
